Maryanne F. Fallon (Moriarty), age 88, of Milton a beacon of love and warmth, passed away peacefully at her home in Milton, MA, on April 25, 2024. Born in the picturesque Currow, County Kerry, Ireland, Maryanne carried the spirit of her homeland in her heart throughout her life.

A devoted mother, Maryanne's legacy is lovingly carried on by her sons, Robert M. Fallon and his wife Stephanie of Milton, Daniel F. Fallon and his wife Marylou of Dedham, Brian P. Fallon and his wife Maureen of Stoughton, and Charles J. Fallon and his wife Jennifer of Stoughton. She was a cherished sister to Kathleen O'Shea, Eileen O'Connor, Charles Moriarty, and Joan Kilmurray, all of Ireland, and she held dear the memory of her late sister Noreen Moriarty. The light of her life shone brightly on her grandchildren, Robert “Henry”, Nora, Daniel, Jessica, Brian Jr., Victoria, Erin, and Grace, who will miss her deeply.  She was predeceased by her former husband Robert T. Fallon of Mattapan and also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Maryanne's early education in County Kerry laid the foundation for her strong work ethic and community involvement. She brought her talents and dedication to John Hancock in Boston, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. Her career path later led her to serve at Milton Academy and eventually the Registrar's Office at Curry College in Milton, where she was a beloved member of the staff. She also volunteered for decades at the Shattuck Hospital in Boston.

Her interests were a reflection of her love for life and her Irish heritage. Maryanne found joy in listening to Irish music, which often served as a soundtrack to her days. She took pleasure in walking and embracing the outdoors, where she found peace and solace. However, it was the time spent with her children and grandchildren that she most cherished, creating memories that they will hold dear for a lifetime. Maryanne was also known for her love of conversation, often reaching out to family and friends with a phone call just to chat and catch up.

Maryanne was the epitome of loving, friendly, and faith-filled. Her warm smile and compassionate nature made her a friend to many. She navigated life with a deep sense of faith, which guided her through its challenges and joys. The love she shared with those around her was a testament to her generous spirit and kind heart.

Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew and loved her, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind. Maryanne's life was a portrait of love in action, and her legacy of kindness and faith will be her everlasting gift to her family, friends, and community.

As we bid farewell to Maryanne F. Fallon, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and passion, a life that touched so many others in profound and lasting ways. Her story is one of connection, love, and the enduring strength of family. May she rest in peace, wrapped in the love of those she held dear and the memories that will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
